Rmember to wipe down/clean the grey color rubber lining, as well as wipe down
the wire frame too (very gently, as the wires can break if handled too rough)....clean both
wires sides of the wires with a dry soft sponge, or dry eraser.
1. This most likely means that the collecting plates filter either:
A. has a broken /damaged part such as a plate is chipped, or the plastic frame is broken
around it......or....
B. the plates need a good cleaning. This is a likely cause.
In that case, please give the collecting plates a super rinse in the sink/tub with hot water spray, and let's
see if any dirt gets washed out of them into the sink and down the drain.
Spray into both sides of the plates filter (front and back) and really give them a good long spray rinse
with good water pressure.
Then, let them dry for a couple hours, or if you have the metal plates, make sure they dry 24 hrs.
Make sure they're 100% dry before putting back in.
Then let us know if after cleaning them if the number goes away or not.
Attached is a cleaning tip pdf to reference also.
2. If after cleaning it doesn't go away, let us know, as it may need serviced.
